He hadn’t even really thought about it much before reaching a hand out silently to brush back some of Sanctus’ hair. Perhaps he should have asked, but unfortunately he didn’t think to until the small deed had already been done. At least Sanctus didn’t seem to mind.

He gave a light grin at the other’s comment. “I was just thinking myself that I wouldn’t mind seeing your face better.. Sorry if I surprised you.” He canted his head to one side. “Doesn’t your long hair get in the way a lot though..? I don’t think I could manage having that sort of length myself.”

Adrian took in a breath as he stepped towards the Lake of Rage, relishing in a rare moment he got to himself very early in the morning. Of course, he can't go far or Rocket would know but.. it's something. At this point, he'll take whatever freedom he could get his hands on.

The lake, despite its name, was soothing. He found it was easier to prepare himself for whatever Rocket might make him do next if he took the time to calm himself and clear his mind. Remind himself.. he won't be here forever. He just.. has to figure out some way to make sure his sister is safe, and then he has to escape himself. Yeah.. he could do that. Probably.. Maybe.

He sat himself on the shore of the lake, looking out over it. Though, it was quite misty this morning and he couldn't see very far across it. That was fine--in fact, it almost made it feel quieter there. He closed his eyes to take in the sounds of the surrounding nature, already inwardly dreading the moment it would have to end and he'd have to go back.
