He hadn’t even really thought about it much before reaching a hand out silently to brush back some of Sanctus’ hair. Perhaps he should have asked, but unfortunately he didn’t think to until the small deed had already been done. At least Sanctus didn’t seem to mind.

He gave a light grin at the other’s comment. “I was just thinking myself that I wouldn’t mind seeing your face better.. Sorry if I surprised you.” He canted his head to one side. “Doesn’t your long hair get in the way a lot though..? I don’t think I could manage having that sort of length myself.”

There were a few things that made Lorenz instantly uncomfortable. These being: Getting ignored, his older brother, Electric-type Pokémon, storms... and mind-readers.

When this one showed up and began spewing that cryptid yet clearly targeted bullshit his way, he had a lot of questions, and all of them could be summarized with a simple what the fuck are you. But Lorenz knew himself well enough to realize that if he started thinking too hard about it, he was going to get mad, and Mister Ominous over there probably didn’t want to limp back home with a black eye.

Trying not to show his irritation show too much, Lorenz kept his closed fists in his coat pockets and cringed between his teeth:

“Okay, pal, we’re gonna nip your spooky shit right in the bud. Which brand of weirdo are you? Psychic? Aura-reader? I got a knack for recognizing Hex Maniacs, so I guess you’re not one of these.“

Rhetorical question. He didn’t care nearly enough to know what the guy was. He might have been spot-on about his desire to improve himself, but the stranger needed to pick his next words carefully, lest he was ready to witness him reverting to his old ways in real time.

“Look, I don’t care if it’s you or one of your Pokémon, just stay the fuck out of my head before I crack yours wide open. We’re clear?“

But honestly I feel so much better doing things at my own pace and having fun now! Anna's been here for such a long time and I'm hoping she'll have many more years here in the roleplaying community!

And just know that I appreciate you so so much too, I adore your writing and your muses even if we don't interact often (again, we gotta. We gotta throw our muses at each other more often djfkgk)!!!
