The games identify both as Nepalese but I otherwise don't have a guess!

Lakhe Dance in Budhanilkantha on Janai Purnima (रक्षाबन्धन) Ceremony - Nepal Festival 2020
"Guni Puni" . . . As every year, unlike any other Nepalese communities, we Newars of the Kathmandu valley celebrate Guni Puni festival in a different way. We visit different temples, offer foods for all. We have "Matya" parade around the Buddhist chityas, temples, monasteries etc of the town. In the meantime, you could see Lakhe Dance all around the valley. Lakhe Dance is one of the favorite things to see in Kathmandu. Newar community is always aware of culture, tradition, heritages and we are saving them for future generations. Never interfere on our cultures and religions. Stop changing religion. #lakhe #lakhedance #ferocious #furious #offerings #offer #nepaldiaries #chapagaun #wenewars #newars #festival #festivals #nepal #culture #tradition #ethics #newa #videooftheday #instablogger #peace #bikeshphotography #bikeshdesharphotography (at Chapagaun) https://www.instagram.com/p/B1OWur0BDtN/?igshid=1086yz3fozz01

The Lakhe is a demon in Nepalese folklore. Traditionally depicted with a red face, long fangs and wild red or black hair, Lakhes are believed to live in the forests, particularly those around the Kathmandu Valley, and are said to be the protectors of the townspeople.
Lakhe dancing is a popular tradition in Nepal. Performers don masks and costumes, and dance wildly in the streets and city squares during festivals.

Lakhey Dance is a popular dance of Nepali community. Lakhey is considered to be a legendary devil who held his domain by chasing away other devils. According to the legend, he who trespasses his domain is punished by Lakhey. This dance is performed during the Indra Jatra festival whwich falls in the month of September every year. For the performance of this masked dance on that very day, we participants practice a lot. On the day of Indra Jatra, we collect charity by showing this dance. Sometimes we do have conflict in keeping God. But very often it doesn’t last long and thus we enjoy the Jatra. #lakhey #lakhe #lakhedance #nepaleseculture
