Watching Hamilton (yes I know controversial) and I noticed a small, useless detail that is making me go nuts for no reason.

In Alexander Hamilton, when Hamilton takes off his white coat, Burr takes it.

Eliza gives him his brown coat.

Angelica gives him his books.

Laurens gives him his bag.

Burr is the damn fool who shot him and he takes something (the coat) away.

Eliza, Angelica, and Laurens are the people who loved him (Maria doesn’t count because she just seduced him and Peggy doesn’t either because her love wasn’t romantic) and they give him things he needs.

Am I over-analyzing this? Absolutely. Still a cool detail.

okay the UST between Laurens and Hamilton in the movie has me shook like the how they situated the camera on Laurens face just yearning for Hamilton makes me think it was one sided but it wasnt was it? Either way, everything about it is fucking brilliant ofc
