5. What are their chief tension areas? shoulders and lower back

Lanara definitely believes in the elven gods. She’s quite open to different theories on how the world came to be and doesn’t really have a firm belief on this topic herself. She’s even mildly open to the suggestion that it might have been the Chantry’s “Maker”, although it’s definitely not her favorite theory as she prefers to think of the elven pantheon as the only gods and the Chantry is stupid. To her the world probably just most likely... has always been there. it’s just... there.

Does your character trust people right off the bat or does it take them some time to warm up to someone?a happy medium? she’s quite trusting for a dalish, but she’s not naive or stupid. she is generally more trusting and comfortable around other elves tho, and dwarves, compared to humans or qunari.

24. Does your character have any enemies? If so, who and why?lmao only half of Thedas it would seem

29. Does your character get restless when things are too quiet or do they favour solitude and silence? Why?she likes silence and calm activities, but doesn’t mind company. she’s just generally more of an introverted person and while drinking with her “inner circle” can be fun for a while, loud environments make her very tired and uncomfortable if it goes on for too long. she’s not really a loner tho, she genuinely likes spending time with people, she just prefers it to be one-on-one and calm and if possible involving something intellectually stimulating. it’s not really surprising she gets on well with solas, cullen, dorian and cole. they’re basically the nerds of the inquisition. :_D

Please tell us three things Lanara simply cannot live without.

well... in general she just simply doesn’t get attached to material things on that level. she’s extremely practical, she’ll eat whatever you put on her plate and she wouldn’t really grieve over losing an item. things can always be replaced. so... this is gonna be more general than dedicated to specific objects.

Magic. She can’t imagine what it would feel like to not be able to use magic, and the thought of somehow losing it (by being turned tranquil for example) is extremely frightening.

Companionship. She’s fairly introverted, but she doesn’t like being alone. She’s never had real friends the way she does in the Inquisition, and she’d hate to lose contact with those she’s closest to.

More knowledge. If she didn’t have any way to gain more knowledge about the things that interest her (magic, history, nature etc.) the boredom would drive her nuts pretty quickly. She’s the kinda person that really feels a constant need to use her brain, whether it’s for some sort logical problem solving, learning new facts, or learning a new skill doesn’t really matter. Binge watching something stupid on netflix for a whole day would make her want to bash her head against a wall.
