Are you from the North East of England?

Calling all those from the North East!

I am currently working towards my Masters dissertation at Lancaster University studying accent and dialect variation in the North East of England. If you were born in or are from any area within the North East I would be exceedingly grateful if you would take 5-10 minutes to complete the following survey so that I actually have some data to analyse for my dissertation. 

The survey is completely anonymous and seeks to gather information regarding how people from the North East pronounce certain words and the words and phrases that locals use that aren't found in other areas of the UK.

If you yourself are not comfortable taking part in the survey I would also be grateful if you could send it on to others that you know from the North East.

15/7/17-16/7/17🌟 yesterday i went to visit lancaster uni and fell head over heels in love!! and today i've done some history summer work💘

05.04.2017 Ending today's revision with a mindmap on the conflict in Afghanistan, this is part of the reason I love geography, it's so broad! This morning I revised volcanoes and the air masses affecting the UK and now I'm revising the conflict in Afghanistan and all 3 of these things are considered the same subject! In other news, I've decided which accommodation I want for uni and which college (the uni I'm going to is collegiate) but I can't apply until June 😩 and I've been added to a group chat for people on my course on Facebook. It's all starting to feel very real!

28.03.2017 I stayed after school today to do some homework, I'm aiming to get all my homework done before the start of the Easter holidays so I can focus on revision! I needed chocolate motivation tho (hence the mars bar 😂). Have any other year 13's confirmed their uni offers yet? Is anyone going to Lancaster or already studying there? I'm studying physical geography in Lancaster starting this September and would love to chat to others who are going???

I don’t actually study here, I’m visiting my best friend Beth (@kalossal) who does. From what I’ve seen it’s all very friendly and professional and the campus is beautiful but Beth could tell you more :) ❤️
