13: Which one likes to surprise the other with a lot of small random gifts?

Lance, definitely. Lana gives the occasional, very practical gift, but Lance is the one that gives trinkets, just because. Flowers. Little things that had to have been smuggled from Dromund Kaas. She’s very traditional like that.

16: Which one gives the other their jacket?

Lance, again. Lana’s jacket would never fit her anyway, unless worn as a little cape somehow. After Odessen, they go on actual dates, and the jacket over the shoulders is a classic date move. Always with the classic moves, that woman.

30: If your OTP went on vacation, where would they go and what would they do? Who would take the pictures?

They sneak back to Dromund Kaas once. It’s fantastically dangerous for what may be the Empire’s highest profile defectors. But they’re homesick, and in love, and in love with the thrill of it. They’ve been reminiscing about home for years and they know that this is the final visit, so they visit all the restaurants they remember, stroll down familiar streets arm in arm. They avoid the Citadel, and they don’t dare visit Lance’s parents, but Lana treasures the candid holo she had a waiter take of the two of them as they had their last meal.

Lance has a copy as well, in her office at SIS headquarters on Coruscant. Lana doesn’t know that. She hides it when she visits.

Lance/Lana. What was their first impression of each other? Did either of them try to resist their feelings? What are their primary love languages? Do they prefer verbal or physical affection? Who’s more likely to convince the other to come back to sleep in the morning? How many more questions can I ask?

Lana discovers Lance eight hours into a twelve hour records review, one of the endless many that marks her first months as the head of Sith Intelligence.

She’s horrified.

Lance is vaguely aware of Lana when she takes over. It’s all the same with these power plays. A new recipient for reports and a quick burst over the encrypted line to Republic SIS. She has no professional opinion.

5. Did either of them try to resist their feelings?

The first date doesn’t mean anything for Lance. It’s pleasant conversation in the cantina and a proffered elbow; an escort home and an invitation.

The second date is rescheduled so often that Lance just shows up with a prepared dinner and a killer smile. It’s fun.

Before the third date, she realizes she has to tell her. It would be unforgivable not to.

7. Do they prefer verbal or physical affection?

Lana likes being swept up in it all.

8. Who’s more likely to convince the other to come back to sleep in the morning?

Lana, definitely. Lance sticks strictly to her schedule, but it’s possible to interrupt her if you make your move between squats and pushups.

Lance, food.

1) Coruscant does have better restaurants. They both agree on this, tucked inside their favorite (because the owner never questioned their accents or their insistence on a few specific table placements.)

2) There were dinners, before she came to Odessen to advise the Alliance. One every year or two, where she politely recited the mundane diplomatic accomplishments provided to her by Intelligence and her parents pretended to be impressed by them. She's not sure she misses them.

3) Membrosia is amazing if you try not to think about it too much.

You know I want ALL the answers BUT, 1 and 9 for Pips/Corso and Lana/Lance??

1. Who makes the first move and how?

Corso does, the minute he puts a gun with a story in the hands of what is basically a stranger. She may not realize it until Coruscant, looking at him looking at the Lady like she's the prettiest girl he ever saw, but her course is set as soon as Flashy hits her palm.

Lance is one for the classics as always. Dinner in the cantina over some intelligence that segued into reminiscing about their time in Intelligence. An offer of an evening walk around the base, a proffered elbow, an escort to the door of Lana's quarters.

Lana likes the classics too, which is why she invites her in for a cup of tea neither of them plan to drink.

9. What is the most embarrassing thing they have done in front of each other?

The conversation where Lance had to tell Lana she'd been a Republic double agent for almost a decade was a little awkward, but really, it's that one time Lance was doing her morning squats for Lana's appreciative benefit and ripped one.

Pips and Corso managed to make it all the way to Tatooine convincing themselves that they were sharing a cantina bunk to save credits. It may have even been true, in those first days on Coruscant. It's definitely not by the moment they wake up wrapped around each other, her head on his arm, eyes sleepy, both of them forgetting for a moment that they definitely have never discussed the fact that they are absolutely smitten and have been for ages. Then they wake up and jump apart so fast she bangs her head against the privacy screen hard enough to make it swim.

Yeah. Awkward.
