I keep wondering, why are we always funneling so much manna into mechs anyway? Big clumsy things loaded with experimental tech. Why not test it on something cheaper and more reliable like...I dunno a tank? Always preffered being backed up by tanks. Tankers are weird but they understand combined arms doctrine.

Avolio Combat Solutions and its subsidiaries would like to publicly denounce the terrorist group known as CORSAIR.
This organisation formed from various former mercenaries which following a disastrous display of command incompetence claiming the lives of hundreds, has recently been found to be stockpiling and producing various weapons despite allegedly remodelling itself into CORSAIR News Network.
Furthermore covert investigations by Spark Broadcasting funded by ACS after this "News Agency" threatened us has revealed the weapons produced by CORSAIR marketed as a so-called "Requiem Communications Array" is in fact a targeted radiation weapon designed to intentionally cause unnecessary pain and suffering to combatants.
We denounce these dangerous terrorists and urge other organisations to cut off their support both economic and material to this band of criminals.
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCMENT
People of the Caeculus system. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mister Avolio, he passed away peacefully in bed after a long term battle with health complications. He will be sorely missed. As he has no surviving family, a new sucessor for the head of the ACS board will be elected soon.
Once the sucessor has been elected a public funeral for Mister Avolio shall be held.

Avolio Combat Solutions has been proudly serving the people of the Caeculus system and the wider galaxy! As such we here have decided to take the time to share with you denizens of the Omninet, our history, and how we went from a humble storefront, to galactic supplier of robust goods! Our story starts over athousand years ago with a man called Romero Avolio, Romero who found himself disatisfied with many of the hunting goods on the market, many of them were overpriced, overcomplicated or simple poorly made, so with some elbow grease, determination and smart investments.
Shortly after making a name for itself in producing quality, reliable and affordable goods, it was approached for a military contract, and went from producing civillian shotguns to tanks and machineguns. With the advent of mechanized walker technology ACS took the lead and soon the AMB-03 "Beatstick" was used to unify the Caeculus system in the glorious Narmer Campagin. Where in the later stages of the war it was surpassed by the AMB-04 "Mace" which would later become the flagship mech-walker of ACS. With the system unified ACS dutifly took upon the duty of protecting the system from any outside threats, and as a result have maintained security of the Caeculus system, which remains to be the only indisputably ACS controlled system.
Since the Narmer Campaign we have slowly established branch offices outside our home. All so that you can recieve the same quality that united a system.

Right, it's been a bit, but I finally got that report declassified for everyone, no sense hiding the shame if we want to maintain a semblance of reputation.

Further Notes: Questioning has been slow going, as expected most of the HoR grunts were kept in the dark as to why they were attacking, explanations varied, ranging from official ACS endorsement (we didn't), guidance from a "Higher Power" or A wealthy anonymous Contracter (who can pay a mercenary company to steal a planet?) To mame a few excuses. On a more positive note, relief work has gone well thanks to support from @officialunionhr and @albatross-lancer so New Albion is looking to be rebuilt by the end of the planetary year. Lucriza has filed numerous questions to the requisition teams to try and find out when the HoR went rogue.
