langblr question:
So I’ve been kinda on-and-off learning Farsi for a few years now. My favorite podcast for learning the language has gone into an unexplained hiatus for an indefinite period of time and since I got a new phone that can actually handle apps like Duolingo and Memrise, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for apps I could use to keep up my skills in Farsi. (Hopefully kind of in the vein of Duolingo, if possible?
Langblr Question:
When asked about phone apps I always see people jump to apps like Duolingo and Memrise. However, I've been using Mondly to learn Farsi lately. I never see Mondly mentioned by the langblrs which I follow (which are admittedly few, but still). I still have a lot to learn about Farsi but so far I think it's an okay app. Is there something bad I don't know about? Do people just not know about it? Or am I just following the "wrong"* langblrs? (I don't believe there are wrong langblrs. I simply mean the langblrs which do not promote the Mondly app)
Swedish: V2 rule versus questions
How do you differentiate between a question starting with a question word (then a verb), and a phrase starting with a question word and then a verb? For example: ‘När kommer du’ - does this mean ‘When you come’, or ‘When are you coming?’. How would I differentiate between them? Or have I got something wrong?
