The shortage of new Robby x Langdon and Abbot x Langdon stories on AO3 is killing me
Abbot/Langdon: Adrenaline Junkies
THE PITT 1x10 vs S02x15
i know i've said it before but i think that fucking frank langdon within an inch of his life would fix robby. and it would fix frank. and it'd fix robby's relationship with langdon. and maybe if jack helped, it would probably iron out the relationship between robby and jack, too.
what i'm saying is that a fully fucked-out, sweaty, panting frank langdon twisted up in robby's sheets would fix everything. it's simple math!
just imagining a world where jack and frank are married.
jack had a nickname at home, abby. it wasn’t even supposed to be the girl’s name. it came about completely independently.
so frank talks about his spouse ‘abby’ all the time. it was a convenient way to not have to lie about his personal life, but also not have to come out as being married to an attending. they were almost always on opposite shifts so it rarely mattered anyway.
everyone found out somehow. maybe they come in together for a mass tragedy and people see them get out of the same car, maybe jack gets hurt and asks them to call his husband. either way, they can’t hide their familiarity.
when the dust settles, and word gets around that frank and jack are together, trinity is the brave soul to inquire about it directly.
“i thought your wife’s name was abby,” she said with a penetrating, calculating stare.
“no,” frank shook his head. “i always said my partner ‘goes by’ abby.” trinity narrowed her eyes in confusion and disbelief. frank explained, “jack abbot. abby. i don’t even remember how the nickname happened, but it’s what i call him.”
everyone listening in on the conversation made an obvious ohhh noise. frank couldn’t believe this place sometimes.
I want Abbot to witness Robby being dismissive and dickish to Langdon so bad purely because I want to know his reaction to all of that. We've seen Dana's, and she is absolutely not happy about it, so I'm curious what Abbot's view on things is.
This has just made me want to read anything frank/jack maybe some Jack sticking up for frank to Robby and comforting frank🫶🏻
I have been dying to write some Abbot/Langdon recently. How about we swap Mohan for Langdon, and we get a little eh/c as a treat. Plus Abbot promising to talk to Robby.

Frank wasn't sure if the thing burning through his chest was anger, or if it was embarrassment, or just the heat from the day starting to infiltrate into the ER, but either way, he felt absolutely stifled by it.
Dana warned him, she did, but fuck, could you blame a guy? Six hours into a shift and the most Robby had done was second guess every step he took with a patient they both knew he did everything with. They had to know, Robby had to know there was no fucking way he could guess necrotic fasciitis from a pretty cut and dry cellulitis case. No way.
He had to find somewhere. Just for a second, just for a moment. Just to breathe.
Closing his eyes tight for just a second, keep himself grounded, taking a deep inhale before opening them and scanning as he walked through. Moving as normally as he could, scanning open door and patients in beds and the outline of scrubs until-
There. Closed door, no doctor, probably waiting for a turnover.
nobody else is shipping jack abbot and frank langdon as hard as me
Don't know where I'm going with this, but Frank with slightly clumpy mascara, and eyeliner that makes his blue eyes seem that much bluer, that much bigger and lipstick that's just slightly smudged, in the Pitt, because he was out or something on his day off, and there was a medical emergency there and he did a ride along because the college kid was scared.
He's in the Pitt all dressed up, in makeup, in the Pitt with his hair dishevelled and his cheeks still flushed and lipstick slightly smeared and his blue eyes emphasised by the eye makeup, and Robby, Jack, and Dennis having to suffer in the best of ways of the image of Frank looking like that for hours, while they individually try not to loose their minds at how fucking pretty he is.
