Still early into season 3 but I have many feelings.
In light of having online friends and thus text conversations, have some textposts
Sammy asking Mae if being gay is actually a disease and Mae shutting her down and explaining how she's bisexual herself and her only relationships have been with women and Sammy is worried about how the world will treat her and Mae's wounds have Actually Reopened and she can't hug Sammy because her Medical Attention after being slashed open in six places has been "banana leaves and whatever Ben found in an industrial first-aid kit" but she does her best and Sammy is still worried because even if everything goes well she has to go BACK TO THE MIDDLE OF TEXAS and she Figured Herself Out four and a half months ago but SHE LIVES IN TEXAS and Mae is stuck in the UK so SHE CAN RELATE do you see the angst

“I feel so wired and tired at the same time. I know I have to sleep, but Dave has decided to be out of character and stay up until MIDNIGHT watching TV.”
“I can hear it all the way upstairs! AHHHHH! I get that he doesn’t have to work on Saturday this week, but it’s A LITTLE MUCH.”
“I’m so TIRED. I feel like I can’t stop being tired. My anxiety keeps spiking and it wipes me out longer and longer each time.”
“I wish I could do fun things, but here I lay in bed again debating whether the obligations I have taken on are worth feeling like I am over 60 years old.”
Ok but season 13 especially gave a lot of importance to Frank's bodily functions and injuries??
I'm just rewatching The Gang Wins the Big Game where his kidney stone and piss causes the Eagles to score...
And now I'm thinking about how Mac Finds His Pride comes next, with the "let the blood flow" metaphor.
They love making Danny do gross shit and it's always in character for Frank to be disgusting ofc. I'm sure there are some more examples throughout the show of the injuries being significant... But the juxtaposition of these two episodes seems significant and funny to me.
And of course in both of these examples, Mac is right there and heavily involved in that part of the story.
