How does the Sign-Ups work?

The sign-ups will stay open until the 15th of August. You simply need to fill the google form to register your participation to the event.

If you are a member of the discord server, you will receive a special role that will allow us to tag the event participants.

Event Schedule

1st-15th August: Sign-Ups

16-19th August: Assignments Pairing

25th August: Check In 1

For this check in, you need to have gotten in touch with your giftee, and have an idea of what to work on.

10th September: Check In 2

For this check in, you need to have reached 50% of your piece. If you need to drop out of the event, this is the last date to do so.

15th October: Check In 3

Final check in, your work should be nearly complete

25th-31st October: Posting Period

Lance Goes Boom~ A Langst Reverse Bang

Hello everyone!  I sent out an interest check a few days ago about the possibility of doing a Reverse Bang, and the response was great!  I’ve decided to go through with it and make it official.  The schedule hasn’t been finalized, but it is going to be a bit of a longer event.  Below are a few questions that I can potentially see asked, so go ahead and look through those before you ask! What counts as ‘Langst’? Langst can count as anything really!  You can have a mostly fluff piece with Lance pining after someone he thinks won’t love him.  You can have a predominantly angst piece with torture and murder.  Just because the name of this reverse bang is ‘Lance Goes Boom’ doesn’t mean that he actually has to explode. What is a Reverse Bang? A reverse bang is pretty much exactly like a traditional bang, but with a slight twist.  Instead of writers starting and coming up with their own idea artists come up with an idea and a sketch.  Writers will have a chance to look through sketches and a small summary of what is happening.  They can claim from there. What is the schedule going to be like? Right now, I’m thinking about opening applications for both artists and writers around late July.  We might complete sometime around April or May of 2020.  Yes, this is really early, but that’s okay! Are Betas allowed? Yes!  They will definitely be allowed, although we will not be holding beta claims.  there will be a channel available in the Discord where writers can get in contact with a beta for the reverse bang.  Finding a beta will be completely on the writer/artist.   Is NSFW content allowed? Absolutely!  There are specific channels available for that content.  As long as you’re over the age of 18, you can create it Any more questions? Go ahead and ask! Sign-Ups Still Open

Hey everyone, if you havent signed up, that's fine, you still have some time. Artist signups will close on the 31st of this month, so it's better to sign up now than later.

Artist sign-ups are here and will stay open until August 31st.

Writer sign-ups are here and will stay open until September 30th.

Beta sign-ups are here and are ongoing.  Remember, we aren’t holding Beta claims, so this is just to keep track of how many we’re looking at.

I'll be sending out an email after sign-ups end with specifics for artists and claims. I hope to see you in the discord!

Heya, your assigned gifter for the Langstron event popping in :D I just wanted to ask what kind of tropes you would be interested in seeing and what I should avoid while working on your gift UwU (I'm leaning towards Shance, Kolivance, Lancelot or Latte, if that helps with your answer)

oho yes I am looking forward to this event. I would have to say shoot for the Shance if that’s one you’re interested in. As to like tropes and such (and im about to reveal myself here lol) I like drowning and whipping. Those are my too faves when it comes to angst. And they go so nicely together with pirates?? Wink wink. If Lotor happens to be in it though I would rather him not be the bad guy.
