You know, the same guys who say "Brienne deserved to have her heart broken by Jaime, because she chose him over Tormund" are the same guys who act all creepy and douchey and then complain about girls not wanting to fuck them.

Wait wait, so both of my OTPS become canon but end up breaking up a couple of hours later? WTF
I hate to be one of those people, but if I get another pro Cersei x Jaime reply on my Brienne x Jaime posts, I'm gonna smack the person who sent it with the ASOIAF books (where Jaime is pretty much done with Cersei 😉)
It's 5:19 am and I'm sitting here, on my bed, wondering if D&D managed not only to ruin Lannitarth for the show itself, but for me as well.
Having Brienne and Jaime fighting side by side and spending a few weeks as a couple, added a new layer to their previous interactions.
But having Jaime reuniting and dying with Cersei in his arms, after breaking Brienne's heart, made it all seem like a big fat lie.
I'm looking at gifs of those two, and I feel like I've been fooled and betrayed by the writers and one of my faves.
Do I still love Jaime x Brienne, or have D&D finally convienced me that there was never any love between the two?
Okay, I've had enough with the "Brienne is a tough woman! She should have gotten over Jaime the moment he left her!"
First of all: she is independed and can fight, yes. But she isn't immune to feelings. She's not a fuckin' robot!
Secondly: Jaime isn't a guy she met a couple of hours before having sex. They spent many months together, they've known each other's weaknesses and they have been building their relationship for a couple of seasons now.
And last but not least, in a show with ice zombies and dragons, romance is pretty much the only thing the world of ASOIAF shares with ours. So, let me ask, how long did it take you to get over a heartbreak???
