“Look…if you keep your attention away from the horizon you can see them better.” A low voice whispered into your ear, their breathe making your hair tickle the lobe of your ear.
Their arm reached out, pointing into the night sky. The sky is pitch black, blue tones disappear into the tree line, the sky is dusted with pure white and a few purple-ish splatters light.
You fall back, trusting that their chest will be behind. And when it is you get warm, numbing your back, crawling up your neck and down your legs until you are no longer captive by the cold. The room is dark, the stone walls rough, elegant paintings of flowers hung on the wall as still candles fill each corner remaining untouched. The velvet red curtains cover the edges of the window, falling to the floor ever so elegantly.
“Do you see that bright one? You can’t help but fall a little limp at his words, a little bit of a needle playing at your heart. You feel a little tired, still in their touch.
