Crackle Coriander the Tenrec, who prefers to be called Cori, has grey-toned green colouration with darker, lime-adjacent accents. Woolly fur crowns her head, naturally curling into a fringe and bangs before bunching at the back, which she ties it off with a simple black hair tie. The darker lime colouration forms soft, heart-like patterns along her arms and legs, while her ears, hands, feet, and face mask are tipped in a deep forest green. Her blue eyes are sharp and observant, framed by dark red eyeshadow that gives her an intense look. She has a dark brown muzzle and flat chest marking that is accented with small tufts of fur on either side, adding warmth to her otherwise cool-toned palette.
She wears a khaki green turtleneck beneath a rugged brown sleeveless jacket, paired with muddy green high-waisted combat trousers that feature four external pockets for tools and spare parts. Heavy brown combat boots keep her grounded, while dark brown glove wraps protect her hands. Silver rings, a simple stud earring, and a lightning-bolt necklace are the few personal touches she allows to her attire. A matching brown bag is rarely far from her side, always stocked with gadgets, spare components, and emergency tools.
Cori is the group’s gadgeteer and technician. If something needs disarming, repairing or jury-rigging under pressure, she’s already on it. She thrives in tense situations, becoming calmer and more focused the higher the stakes rise. Mechanical problems make sense to her in a way people often don’t, and she takes quiet pride in being reliable when things go wrong. She is confident and capable with a naturally authoritative tone. She doesn’t hesitate to take charge during emergencies, guided by logic rather than emotion. But despite her tough exterior, she is genuinely sweet at heart. She isn’t quick to trust new people and they are usually met with polite distance and careful observation; it takes time for her to fully warm up. Once she does, however, her loyalty is unwavering. Cori values consistency and honesty in people.
Daughter to Surge the Tenrec and Lanolin the Sheep, Cori takes strongly after her mother Lanolin, both in temperament and values. She loves her deeply and credits her with teaching her self-discipline, independence and the importance of being prepared for the worst. In contrast to her mother, Cori refuses to acknowledge the other side of her family. She has never met Surge and intends to keep it that way, having fully disowned her and wanting nothing to do with her legacy or reputation. She has an older sister and a younger sister from being triplets; she loves and respects them equally.
As one of the oldest half-sister to Oleander and Zipp, Cori keeps emotional distance, though not out of cruelty. It’s a deliberate choice with protective and cautious rooted feelings in her refusal to be tied to something she doesn’t trust. Even so, her instincts sometimes betray her, and in moments of real danger, she may act before thinking, quietly looking out for them. One constant presence in Cori’s life is her ivory Wisp, Spark, which follows her everywhere and functions as both a partner and silent companion. Spark acts as a stabilizing presence, assisting her during technical work and serving as a quiet source of comfort when she’s alone. Cori rarely speaks about their bond, but it’s clear the two are inseparable.

Her mother is Lanolin, her father is unknown (official redesign of her! All fankids I have made are getting a redesign). She is an apple farmer, tending to stay out of trouble and coming to be rather strong as she works. Sometimes, she trains with her mother to become stronger and just to be safe, incase she runs into badniks or eggman. Shs never met her father, and never plans to.
