being in ur twenties makes u feel like 30 is a brick wall u either fly over or crash into but i promise u it's a door and it opens up into the rest of ur life like getting past the prologue of an open world game

I know this can be read like a joke, and, although that was intentional, I am being fr. It feels very heteronormative at best and homophobic at average.

OFC some same-sex couples do have one fem leaning person and one masc leaning person, but DON'T JUST TACK IT ON THERE BECAUSE YOU NEED IT TO FEEL STRAIGHTER. Put on your thinking cap for 20 minutes and think about how the character would present independently of a partner. If that CHANGES, RETHINK IT. ofc there are cases you can pass it off, but mannnnn. Just be normal bout it, thanks.

the concept of ai vent art is so fucking funny to me. picture me heavy sobbing and shaking in a corner with snot running outta my nose, i pull up my phone and say "c-computah...... p-please generate me a picture of me crying in the dark with chains around my arms and my eyes are blacked out and bleeding and add an evanescense lyric written in red letters" and it does it and i feel my emotions fully represented in the picture. picture that.

No matter what a post on tumblr tries to tell you, your moral and ethical stances will never be determined by what you reblog and what you scroll past. Don’t let manipulation tactics force you into doing anything you don’t want to do.

I find it very interesting to note the times in which this post has a sudden resurgence. It often follows very stressful, upsetting events, where a lot of “REBLOG THIS OR YOU SUCK” posts start appearing on this site. 

So I’ll say it again: it is okay if you come to tumblr to escape upsetting news. It is okay if you’re just here for fun and fandom. It is okay if you do not want to use your tumblr as a place to read about or spread the current events that are circulating. It is okay if you need a place to decompress and just relax. There are other ways to be involved in/support causes and you are allowed to set boundaries on social media platforms without it being indicative of your belief systems. 

Your beliefs, values, ethics, and moral stances are not determined by whether or not you reblog something.
