goodnight
I was running around in the fourth Silent Realm earlier and I literally had just gotten the last tear, well it was beside one of the stupid lantern watcher thingies and after Fi's monologue saying "yay you got all the tears, proceed with caution to the trial gate," the stupid lantern guy noticed me and I got stuck against a wall and was killed by a guardian literally SIX SECONDS AFTER I GOT THE LAST TEAR and I just gotta vent
Before I forgot ... here is a guy that I create on the same day as Pesy & Chap so he is also working with Sorcha (doing mafia stuff ahah)
He doesn’t have a name yet but if you have an idea then feel free to tell me :)
Lantern Guy (Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island)
Jasper and Egeria, in Halloween costumes. Jasper is Wizardmon, one of my all-time favorite characters from my childhood, and Egeria is Gatomon. Yes, they are in matching costumes of two characters that have a close relationship for a reason. Though you guys here on tumblr are probably already aware of that if you saw those sketches I posted a while back that never got uploaded anywhere else.
I don't know how Egeria managed to get her hood and tendrils to look like that. As far as I'm aware she can't take it off because it's physically attached to her like any other body part - but I guess I can get away with doing things like this since I'm the artist.
Bored Jasper. A digitally finished doodle from my notes.
More Jasper and Egeria. Jasper's head can pop off - it's similar in feeling to separating a pair of magnets stuck to each other. And apparently Egeria will sometimes play keep-away with his head. I also imagine that Egeria's hood-tendril things are somewhat elastic, which is why they look a little longer here than normal. Jasper could just grab Egeria in one of his enormous hands and yank down the tendrils holding onto his head with the other, but Egeria has been known to quickly stash his head in nearby high-up locations that he can't reach on his own.
Though at times, Egeria will pack Jasper's head around with her and Jasper doesn't make any attempt to be reunited with his body. The more I draw / think about these two the more I see something going on with their relationship that I didn't originally plan. There go my characters again, scrambling away out of my control and developing their own personalities and relationships with one another.
