April + VISTA - "If Light Escapes"
“If Light Escapes” is the latest track from DC-based singer/producer duo, April + VISTA, which is aimed “to tell a familiar story of heartbreak and vulnerability from [their] unique perspectives, breaking genre barriers in the process”. We think they do just that with this track. The minimal production, subtle complementing beats and electronic tinkering allow the smooth and sultry vocals shine and tell the story, elevating this track to future r&b status.
Speaking of which, the duo have an upcoming Lanterns EP due out March 31st which will feature this track, so be sure to keep an eye out for that.
