Laosaurus is an Ornithopod known from the Morrison Formation of Wyoming, dating back to the Oxfordian to Tithonian ages of the Late Jurassic, about 163 to 145 million years ago. Though it has many species assigned to the genus, two of them have now been separated out - Dryosaurus altus and Othnielosaurus consors. Furthermore, the three species that still remain in Laosaurus are all dubious, based off of fairly meager remains. It was probably a bipedal herbivore.
