I re-read His Dark Materials a while ago, and loved it, as always. (I’m glad there’s young adult fiction that encourages me to achieve my dreams of killing god.)
But I truly cannot get over the fact that Iorek Byrnison thought that the panserbjørne could find refuge from global warming in the Himalayas. YOU EAT MARINE MAMMALS! GO TO ANTARCTICA!
