My contribution is judging you from a distance and/or calling the cops for all this shit that’s happened. That’s a lot of blood on your hands there reina.
...Fine. Do what you must. It’s not like it matters anymore. There’s no point.

THE TYRANT'S TOMB THEORY 2
Guys. I concocted another theory for the Tyrant's tomb. Read it separately from the previous one for these two bear little to no ties with each other. )) Soooo, I looked up gods related to silence, then came across a nice list ranging from Gods of Silence like Harpocrates, Hesychia to a bunch of mute gods and goddesses and eventually narrowed it down to Larunda who's myth seemed super fitting, what with her being a Roman divinity and the whole theme of the series being more Roman than Greek..yeah, here. So, now that we're settled, let me tell you more about Larunda. Larunda was a naiad nymph, daughter of the river Almo in Ovid's Fasti. She was also known as Lara, Larunde and Laranda. Her most famous features were her breathtaking beauty and acute loquacity, hence her incapability of keeping secrets. She was faced with Jupiter's wrath after having had the misfortune of revealing to Juno that her husband was having an affair with Juturna (Larunda's fellow nymph). As a punishment, he cut out Lara's tongue and ordered Mercury, who's duty (or one of his many) was conducting souls to the Underworld, to take her to Avernus, the gateway to the realm of Pluto. HOWEVER, Mercury ended up falling in love with and had sex with (or raped her? What with these gods having no morals whatsoever) her on the way. Lara thereby became mother to two children, referred to as the Lares, invisible household gods who currently are living in Camp Jupiter. Though, in the meantime, she had to stay in a hidden cottage in the woods so that Jupiter would not find her. Apart from this, according to some sources, she is also known as the roman Goddess of the Dead (no, it's not Pluto. He's the god of the Underworld and the subterranean domain, while Mors/Letum is responsible for the "logistical'' aspect of death. That makes her responsible for the "ghostly" facet of death) which is explained by her moving from being a river nymph to a chtonic nymph due to her long stay in the underworld. Numa Pompilio, the second Legendary King (will be back to this point later) of Rome and successor of Romulus, established her cult as Tacita, the silent goddess (Dea Muta), for he was convinced that in the good government of a nation, a divinity of eloquence was necessary, and what with her reputation of being a loquacious and eloquent speaker, she was the best and most obvious choice. This kinda explains why some prefer to keep "Lara'' and "Tacita/Muta" separate and refer to them as different entities but honestly, these probably are just some fancy post-punishment aliases if you ask me. Now now, what does any of that have to do with TTT ? Well, amidst this entire mess made of Lares, Ghosts, Silence and S E C R E T S, don't we know someone with a nice repertoire of encounters, to say the least, with ghosts? Someone with a connection to Lares? Someone with a big, huge secret? The foreshadowing back in BoO lead me to think that Reyna will have to face the ghosts -both literally and figuratively- of her past someday. Her storyline is so far from being done. And what about Apollo? Well he's close to Mercury so that makes him vicariously close to Tacita? Now the thing I wanted to say about the previously stated king is that both my theories converge in the fact that the Legendary Roman kings will play a role in the coming books. Either (or both, maybe?) Rome will be back to being a Kingdom (aka maybe the only possible way to curb the Emperors plans of re-establishing the empire, and btw, there's a small clue in the Sibyl of Erythraea's prophecy) or Reyna really will end up being a descendant from one of the kings.. Maybe even Romulus, the "big boss" ? Making her a descendant of Aeneas. Which would solve the whole mystery as to why Venus appeared to her in person and delievered that accurst prophecy to her. Because that would make her Aphrodite's (aka Venus') legacy. I really feel like the next book will be more centered around Reyna, like TBM's plot was heavily centered around Meg's backstory, father, childhood. Apollo, being the god of light and healing, will be of a great help here. He's more than a ludicrous flabby crybaby, guys. He is a god with 4000 years worth of advice, and he knows what living with the guilt of "killing" a loved one is like. He feels responsible for the death of Hyacinthus and Daphne's fate, so him and Reyna will help each other a lot. Trust me, I also judged, hated and despised the mere thought of him coming as much as an inch closer to her back when TOA was announced. But then I remembered what made him my favourite god and his development in TBM rendered me speechless. If anyone's gonna be able to pull Reyna out of that shell she built around herself, it'll be him. [PS, please, do not read what I said in a potential-relationship undertone, well do if you please, but that's a tale for another day hehe.] SO WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? I still prefer my other one but I'm fine with both plots tbh >.>
