The other day I found out about a new illustrated edition of The Witching Hour that'll be released in a few months, and there are some really gorgeous arts of the main Witches that they posted on their Facebook page, wish I had the money to buy an international special edition like this, but alas...

Aaaaand here he is!!! It took me almost 1 year from start to finish. To be fair to me, I put him down and didn't touch him for about 8 months

Three whole doodles of the symbiote family in the spectral spider au. Carnage is born a few years after Venom and Eddie meet and is the oldest of the siblings. Eddie loves her, but carnage tends to have more homicidal tendencies lmao. Eddie and Venom refuse to give their kids normal names because "they deserve to have cool names." (They are not helping them beat the killer alien allegations)

Also wanted to provide some info about the kids and the reasons why the symbiotes were named like they were. (Their powers are mostly the same as with the early comics, given a few changes):

Carnage (She/her)

The oldest of the group

Despite symbiotes lacking distinct genders/biological sexes, Carnage identifies as a girl. (Eddie could tell the moment she was born that she would use she/her pronouns)

Eddie and Venom wanted to give her a cool name, so they called her carnage (much to everyone's-especially Gwen's -exasperation.)

Carnage, of course, lives up to her name with her love for violence and chaos.

Riot (They/it)

The moment they gained consciousness, they threw a tantrum (bro already mad at life they weren't even an hour old yet)

Eddie and Venom named them Riot accordingly

Makes their hosts more tank-like. They're way more bruteforce and a lot bigger.

Agony (She/them)

Has the ability to produce acid. You can guess why she's called agony (they burned her mom🤦‍♀️. The goober)

Tried wearing jewels and pretty things once. Cried because she accidentally dissolved them.

Scream (It/them)

Self-explanatory. They scream a lot. Like. A LOT. As in, they only communicate through screams, and only people bonded to her can understand it.

Unlike most symbiotes, Scream is resistant to sound attacks and can give a host the ability to use sonic attacks

Phage (He/it)

Venom heard the word "phage" and was like, "EDDIE WE SHOULD NAME THIS ONE PHAGE THAT WORD SOUNDS COOL", and Eddie was like "OK babe :D👍"

(Venom does not know that phage literally means "virus," but don't tell it that)

Phage has the strange ability to go undetected when his chosen host is examined through typical scientific means.

Lasher (They/it)

Eddie likes slasher films and lasher sounds like slasher so🤷‍♂️.

Also, Lasher's preferred method of attacking is using whip-like tendrils.

Sleeper (Not depicted) (It/them)

The youngest of the family. The baby

Can put people to sleep

Eddie called it sleeper cuz of its ability and because sleeper agents. ("Trust me it's cool bro")
