When the cast list had been released, Lady had scoured over it. She hadn’t told anyone but Apollo that she was auditioning and that was because he had asked her for help and she was all “only if you help me” and then they’d squealed a bit about both being in the play.

After that, she had been too shy to talk about it. So, cast list meant Lady looking to see if anyone she knew (and liked) was going to be in it!

And lo and behold, alllllll the way down in the set department was a one Mr. Gaston LaCarriere. 

It took a few days for her to spot him, and when she did, she felt her heart do a fluttery thing in her chest that was probably very bad, but she liked it just fine. 

“Well howdy, stranger,” she greeted him as she entered the back room.

She went over to a cabinet and opened it up, pretending to look busy--like she’d come in here for something and he just happened to be there. What was she grabbing out of it? Nothing. But, she knew she couldn’t make it seem like she was searching him out.
