It's funny that of all the places, I grew special fondness for little sleepy hamlet of Gnathang during my last trip. Here one could spend an entire day waiting for the sun, doing nothing and chat by the fireside. We waited inside a convenience store in the village that also served as a restaurant and a shop for woollens. Waiting in a circle around the warm Bukhari, trying to make something out of an evening by going back to the card games that are by the way epic time killers. When we felt tired sitting all day long, we hiked over to a hilltop and while coming back, waited by the riverside on a freezing evening, just to not miss the last glimpse of the village before it grew dark at 6.
