i dont know how to emotion
ur gonna get the fattest rant about a boy im not sure i have a crush on but so far its been like 4 hours and a different situation occurred and he told me all this stuff and i told him how much he meant to me which is a lot and i was really cheesy and i dont know if that can even be platonic anymore ahhhh
I am. You just know me THAT much.
Late Night Conversation (3)
I remember how he asked me that night, ‘Did you ever feel lonely?’ ‘Huh?’ ‘Like literally, I mean. You just want to be with someone, anyone. You tried to find them but no one there.’ I dwelled, Took a time to think. I looked at his eyes. Tried to put me into his shoes. By a minute, I already drown with the sorrow he felt. I could see how he was beside himself with grief. Slowly but sure, I was sinking. I was, I mean, we all were intimate with the ‘loneliness’ word, right? But, at that very time, that word heard more tragic. He put it as deep as an ocean in front of us. By the end, we knew this was not a question. It was a rhetorical question for exact. I answered the answer he knew since the very first beginning, ‘No.’ He looked down and replied my answer, ‘I’ve been there, and it was…’ I waited him to continue his answer, Even though I need nothing else to hear. ‘Hhh... I don’t know. It was like the world has its business that you did not know.’ I put a long silence. He did too. Unlike the lay of the land, my mind was too busy to understand that moment. My mind was too confused to choose whether hug myself tight or him. But it turns out nothing. We looked far to the ocean. We heard every wind that secretly whispered. And as the wind and waves ebb and flow, They also bring a heart that promised. To be there, always.
Late Night Conversation (2)
People said, “Late night conversations are usually the one that mean the most.”
“Tau nggak sih rame - rame isu persekusi sekarang?”
“Tau.”
“And…. What do you think about that?”
“Nothing.”
“Serius?”
“Bukannya udah biasa?”
“Maksudnya?”
“Ya isu ini tuh sebenarnya udah ada dari dulu, ini selalu ada kok di sekitar kita, mungkin juga kita jadi bagian jadi si persekutornya.”
“Elaboration please?”
“Pernah inget nggak kasusnya seorang perempuan di kereta yang nggak ngasih duduk orang tua, terus dia dibully habis-habisan di sosial media, sampai nggak tahu tuh kemana orangnya sekarang?”
“And then?”
“Nah lo ikutan ngepost nggak? Lo ikutan nyinyir nggak waktu itu? Lo bayangin deh orang – orang yang kenal dia tuh ngapain dia yah waktu itu. Ikut ngejauhin? Ikut ngomongin? Mungkin nggak ekstrem sampai physical harassment, tapi bukannya sama aja?”
“Ya juga sih. Cyber bullying juga sama aja yah meneror dan menghina orang.”
“Capek nggak sih hidup di antara semua yang double standard?”
“Sort of equality I hear here? Mungkin memang nggak ada yang benar-benar adil. That life is should be like this.”
“Kenapa?”
“Nyadar nggak tugas kita di hidup tuh sebenarnya cuma survive. Keep survive and keep exist. Ini adalah tugas yang paling hakiki dimiliki semua yang ada di dunia ini.”
“Hm, okay, I agree on that point. Then?”
“Sudah hakikatnya kita berkompetisi untuk survive. Sayangnya kadang untuk tetap survive, kita butuh orang – orang lain untuk ‘dibunuh’. Got my point? Pada hakikatnya memang tidak ada yang adil untuk semua.”
“Kalau liat dari perspektif itu, ya bisa jadi benar. But as long as I know, we are human, right? If we could send people to the moon, why we couldn’t make a life rule for our society?”
“Sayangnya hanya segelintir orang yang mikir kayak lo.”
“Kenapa juga gue mikir gini yah? Hahaha”
“Well, because it’s you, just being you.”
“….”

Late night driving
To continue on with the connection theme I took a group of old friends out driving tonight. It's been a while since we have seen each other so we just had a catch up like you'd expect but what caught me off guard was the longer we drove for the deeper the conversations got. We went from joking around to talking about there loneliness and sadness with where they are now. Misty eyed this sparked an interesting idea I think I'll explore next week on the connections between cars, late night conversations and the journey to places
Midnight Thoughts - 3:04 AM
"Late night conversation with HIM. Best feeling."
