I don't understand why reading and annotating dense academic texts is all well and fun and good but then copying my notes/idead and the quotes I want to reference later and getting the citations correctly so I have a product to send to my supervisor is a process so thoroughly torturous that sometimes I get anxiety and want to cry just thinking about it.
