Introducing Later Daters Bloom DIgital Media’s new romance game!

Welcome to ye OLDE (Oceanview Living Domicile for the Elderly) a charming residence for the active retiree and you’re it’s newest resident. Later Daters is a game about dating while old. But it’s really about a lot more than that. It’s about making do, moving on, getting over it, and falling in love. We’ve created an adorable cast of characters and we are sure you will fall in love with all of them, which is good, because Later Daters is our first attempt at a polyamorous love story.

Meet Crystal, the cheery but mysterious newcomer to Ye OLDE

Esther may be the one in charge of the welcome wagon committee at Ye OLDE, but Crystal is the first person you will encounter who embraces you with open arms. Arriving with just one suitcase and a cheery disposition, she certainly seems keen to make friends and settle in to life at Ye OLDE, starting by joining every club and attending every social function.

It doesn’t take long to get to know Crystal on a more intimate level, or so you think, as you’re both next door neighbours:

Lots of us get gassy as we get older, but it doesn’t bother me that I can hear you tootin’ around your apartment. Just let ’em rip! Better out than in, I always say!

At first, when she accompanies you while exploring Ye OLDE, you think you’re getting to know her, but you soon realize that she is very adept at leaving out personal details from your conversations. She’ll talk your ear off, but is never saying much about herself. Soon, you start overhearing whispered phone conversations that give you cause for concern. The more secretive Crystal gets, the more curious everyone in the community becomes, and soon enough the rumours are flying. Will you be able to foster a budding romantic relationship with Crystal while trying to uncover the truth of her past?

Crystal is the sixth character announced from Bloom’s upcoming game, Later Daters, which is set to feature a colourful cast of characters. You will get a chance to meet everyone as the newest resident of Oceanview Living Domicile for the Elderly, or as it’s more commonly known Ye OLDE retirement community.
