It was a little known fact that Sebastian couldn’t swim. Couldn’t even do a decent enough doggy-paddle to stay afloat for longer than a few seconds before he sank to the bottom of the pool like a rock. His mother had tried to have him take swimming lessons when he was younger, but he’d been so terrified of the water that she’d let him quit, saying he’d retake them again at a later date.
That date never came and the demigod hadn’t made any effort to learn, content to sit on the side of the pool or in the sand at the beach. It didn’t seem like that important of a thing.
He knew he made an odd picture though, fully clothed as he sat on a towel along the deserted stretch of beach. It was a cloudy day, not quite the beautiful, sunny weather that would have invited more people to hang out along the shore. Nevertheless Sebastian seemed to be enjoying himself, raising his hand to someone walking along the shoreline as they passed him.
“Morning!” He called, chipper and cheerful.
