[EN] I wasn’t planning on going anywhere. I was tired after mowing the lawn — half a hectare of it, so yeah, that’ll wear you out. I was already half-asleep.
But I forced myself to get up. Took a short walk before bed. Stretched my legs a bit.
And you know what? I’m glad I did. Because even though the evening was chilly, and I was feeling a bit down about how quickly it’s getting dark again, the sky put on a colorful show — the sun painting the clouds with light.
Sometimes it’s worth getting off your ass. Actually — it’s probably always worth it. It’s just that I don’t always get the chance to be reminded of that.
[PL] Miałem nigdzie nie iść. Byłem zmęczony po koszeniu trawnika. Mam go pół hektara, więc jest czym się zmęczyć. Przysypiałem już. Postanowiłem jednak się zwlec. Przespacerować przed snem. Rozprostować kości.
I w sumie dobrze się stało – bo mimo że wieczór był chłodny, a mnie trochę przygnębiało to, jak szybko znów się ściemnia, to jednak na niebie trwał kolorowy spektakl, który słońce malowało na chmurach.
Czasami warto ruszyć tyłek. Ba! Pewnie zawsze warto – ale nie zawsze jest mi dane się o tym przekonać.
