Yay! Glad to hear. We are a small but MIGHTY crew! I would love to see some Dairugger get worked into VLD, for instance I notice that the entire motivation for the Drule in Dairugger - their planet basically dying - is used in VLD and I’m kind of curious to see if there’s any of Hazar’s old characterization in Lotor (would love to see Dorma too (Acxa looks a bit like her, don’t you think?)). I’d love to see the Dairugger crew show up in some form or another too in VLD but I heard that the writers admitted they didn’t know the Vehicle Voltron well (though that’s hearsay and I never saw that actual interview, fingers crossed, so we can hope).

I’d imagine that, if VLD makes enough bank for Netflix though, Dairugger would be a sensible follow up. So there may be hope either way. (I’ve got my own personal weakness that would rather see a crossover between the two but I’ll take what I could get lol).

Heehee also I’m quite familiar with what the language is, friend <3 - I’ve done graduate level linguistic studies on Cantonese from both both sociolinguistic and phonetic prospects, but cannot myself tell the difference when I hear them because I speak neither tongue (ahhh... the old problem of linguistic studies... a linguist studies a dozen languages but speaks none of them!!!). Thank you so much for letting me know what the language is!!!!!! I know it’s touchy sometimes to call Cantonese ‘Chinese’ so I’m glad to avoid that now that I’ve edited the post to reflect the language name. You have no idea how thankful I am. All I could tell what it was some Chinese dialect - I’m so thankful to know which one it is.
