so...i..kinda need some help..

okay…i thought so long and hard about this but after some encouragement from my discord friends (love y’all so much and thank u for always listening to me whining about my problems <3) i finally decided to make the post i never thought i had to made, i don’t really know where to start, but basically, my dad suddenly decided that his new life full of partying, dating (getting tattoos and his tongue pierced for crying out loud) etc is suddenly more important than his own kid and won’t help me out financially anymore. im a university student and currently without a job (because of my mental health as well as there literally being zero job offers in my tiny university town) and so far (even tho it was always difficult and he controlled my bank account and made me feel guilty about every cent i spent) he supported me financially (as he actually legally has to until im 25 in this country but even if i take this to court it would take ages) i did finally apply for a student loan but the earliest i can get that is august if im lucky. im also currently looking for a job again but even if i randomly find one and start working next week i wouldn’t be paid until the end of july. i had a few days last week where i barely ate anything but expecting my dad to transfer me money again for july…but he won’t (he ignored my messages for days even tho i said i had no food in the house and no money because i had less money than usual last month and on top of that the vet for my puppy was double the price i expected so last month left me more than broke)…so yeaim in a bit of a dilemma and im just trying to find a way to survive next month tbh….i don’t want anyone to feel like you have to help me out … and pls if you want to only do if you really really can do so. …but yea long story short, here’s my ko-fi …every little bit helps (even if i have nothing to offer in return im sorry..but i hope to get back into writing soon at least://) reblogs are appreciated <33 ily guys

you know what bothers me the most? the fact that josh keaton who has been nothing but an absolute angel to this fandom felt like he had to apologize to csa survivors for his comment regarding the definition of pedophilia.

when in actuality people misusing this word are the ones actually harming said victims. not josh trying to make people aware that these ships aren’t pedophilia.

it doesn’t matter if he does or does not think these ships are problematic, it doesn’t matter if you think they are or not. what matters is that by definition they’re not pedophilia. and when he tried making people aware of that he was doing the right thing. protecting victims and survivors. because if we keep throwing around this word like this people don’t take actual pedophilia claims serious anymore. and that’s a fucking problem.

and now that poor man thinks he harmed survivors somehow? when the people harassing him are actually the ones doing so? im furious.

Hey! Look I'm not an anti, I just don't ship shirt with any of the others, and I do understand some antis sides on a lot of this, but like it's not pedophillia at all.. Majority are literally just using it as an excuse to ship klance, which, on that note, so many people are antis bc pedophillia but still draw and write smut of the other Paladins so like?? The hypocrisy is far too unprofessional, and this damned website sucks

no one has to ship shaladin and that’s ok, but as you said, these ships aren’t pedophilia but calling them that is so much more problematic than these ships could ever be because people stop taking actual posts about pedophilia serious anymore because it’s always like ‘’is op talking about actual pedophilia or cp or are they talking about shipping?’’

and when according to them all paladins other than shiro are minors (which isn’t even true) and that makes it bad to ship them with him then why is it ok to draw nsfw of two underage characters. according to their own logic that would be child porn. but ofc their brain capacity doesn’t go that far. i mean actually believing kl@nce will be canon despite repeatedly being told no is enough proof for that. (disclaimer it’s totally fine to ship kl if you don’t harrass others who don’t and maybe not get so delusional about it. kl@ncedom is literally queerbaiting itself and people who start watching the show and then notice they talk like twice. )

I only ship Shance and Shallura on the Shaladin spectrum, but all ships are valid????? People shouldn't hate it like they do????? I don't get this fandom, if you don't like a ship just move on from it and let people be happy jc So I love this blog cuz it's super amazing your love for Shaladin ships!! Do u know the specific things jds and lm said they didnt like from the guidebook?

not sure they specifically didn’t like things. they just were a bit surprised at things like keith liking hippos as they weren’t involved in the writing of this book. but most of the actual important information was taken from the voltron tv bible so that means that most of the info is stuff lauren and joaquim knew about and agreed on it being canon when they started working on the show.
