Lattefall (a Bannerfall Cafe AU)

because of a silly typo by Fr0ggonaut in cherri’s chat (referenced chat messages under the cut) everyone collectively came together to make a bannerfall cafe au, and heres the lore I’ve compiled from it (please feel free to add on to, or send me some messages I’ve missed and I’ll make sure to add them onto the post)

Lattefall roughly takes place sometime in the 2010’s in the city of Bannerfall after the burning down of Soluna, which was the city’s most renowned cafe that Cherri was slated to inherit. With Soluna burnt down the neighboring cafes to Soluna the Red and Blue, which were already on bad terms with each other along with both suffering fire damage themselves, are frantic in capturing the patronage of the Soluna’s old customers.

Cam and Shan are the managers of the Red, and blue cafes respectively. While the Tutorial NPCs are the Higher ups/Owners.

Also I saw an idea that Kitty is quite literally the Red cafe’s cat and I thought that was really cute. (By @kitts-crafts who also made the name lattefall ^_^)

Along with Cam x Scott enemies to lovers being brought up too (Though I don’t have the screenshot of it T_T) and please check out sparkishs’s lattlefall cherri design ^_^

My ideas for Lattefall

How I Format

-My idea (and why)

-Lily is the person both kingdom’s cafes get their stock from (Lady on the ship in no mans land)

-The Bannerfall teachers (Impulse, Cleo and Scar) are the regulars that switch between the cafes (No loyalties but they are important to the story)

-Impulse used the letter “i” for his orders who works at the school

-Scar is just a mysterious man who works at the archery range (hawkguy) who goes by Hawk

-Cleo goes by Cleo and works in a graveyard (“zombie”cleo)

-Kitty stays at red cafe most of the time but occasionally will goes to the alleyway behind the blue cafe for stray mice.

-Soluna was an old cafe that Apo and Cherri used to work at, Cherri was a team leader there too (princess of Soluna) and when their cafe got broken and burgled, Ren the owner of Soluna (king Ren of Soluna) told Cherri and Apo they should leave for now. So they left so they could get money to fix Soluna

-Both cafes got their buildings for cheaper as they had previously got caught in a fire

-Red kingdom is in the middle of the street and has been established for a few weeks before blue kingdom came along. (Owen said Red kingdom had 200 citizens while blue kingdom had 100 before the banners fell and that feels important to me.)

-Blue kingdom is new, but on the corner across the street a block over from red kingdom.

-Red kingdoms’s cafe has red seats and booths, and red and white umbrellas above the outdoor furniture.

-Blue kingdom’s cafe has light blue tilling on their floor and blue beaded curtains that catch the sun and is next to a park with a pond that can be seen from the window.

-Frogue is just a man who loves frogs and wheres clothes with frogs on them e.g. dilf (Damn I Love Frogs)

-Scott (Major) has flowers and vines around the Blue cafe.

-Shan and Graecie are both tall (Shan being giant queen and Graecie saying shes normally the tallest)

-Shan and Cam are the owners of their cafes

-Graecie and Cherri are Team leaders (they seem to be the most trusted by the monarchy so far)

-Sausage can’t live with out coffee (the only way i can explain him, and with coffee him seeming dead to the world fits for a necromancer) he also flirts with all the guys (neck-romancer)

-Eloise is a ballerina (swan) who works at the cafe for money during college

-bf!Nom and bf!Katie are siblings at the warring coffee shops causing bickering and warnings of anything they would have talked about at home

-bf!4C could be called Cy (the closest name i could think of without a number haha) he is a guy with ADHD bouncing off the walls and the coffee calms him. He oozes confidence and is very sly and great and convincing people to give tips to the cafe

-Blue Kingdom’s cafe is called WaterValley Cafe (water for blue and their queen is a water mage, valley for lily of the valley which is bf!scotts fav flower and the ship name of waterlily for bf!shan and bf!Graecie)

-Red kingdom’s cafe is called HealingEclipse Cafe (Healing for Cam’s powers and partially the ship name of solareclipse for bf!Apo and bf!Cherri)

I have watched Cherri’s (live) and Scott’s (vod) POV and I am watching Shandrea’s (vod) POV. If you have an ideas that you think would help the world-building/work based on the characters lore, please let me know :) and thank you Froggo, Lattefall god, for coming up with idea during Cherri’s 1st bannerfall stream
