honestly this does make me think of an even better scenario i've longed for for them: magistrate astarion and arrogant chosen of mystra/troublemaker gale hauled before him. the thought of gale unknowingly flirting with astarion before his hearing is cracking me up tbh

I have a question for you, as a writer I admire very much! Do you normally work on one piece of writing at a time, or do you have multiple WIPs going?

so yeah, i only work on one thing at a time, pretty strictly. the only time i'll ever work on multiple things is if challenge or exchange deadlines dictate otherwise, and then i can do it, but i don't really love doing it. tbh this mirrors a lot of how my brain latches on to interests: i usually get really into one ship, one fandom, one piece of media, etc. at a time and hyperfixate. it's the same with writing, i don't like to change mental tracks because i tend to really immerse myself in the world i'm building or working in.

i also write purely linearly, which i think is controversial?? but it's what works for me!

naw, you’re fine. we can edit that in. however most of the au’s and tropes are going to be au’s or tropes that could be written for the general public.

but yeah, we can make a note of that.
