Very grateful to be apart of Saturday's @liftUPlift launch party and share @MindfulIndulgences along side some of beautiful woman owned businesses Chicago has to offer. UpLynk Presenting at LaunchUp #15
I'll be presenting at LaunchUp #15 this Thursday evening at 6:30pm at Noah's in South Jordan. LaunchUp is akin to a barn raising for startups and entrepreneurs. We're given 7 minutes to present the problem we solve, how we solve it and most importantly, what we need from the entrepreneurial community to make things happen. We followup with a few minutes of QA. After all the presentations attendees have a chance to sit down with each of the companies and talk more about their company and possibly offer up some of the help the company is looking for. It goes fast, and should be a lot of fun.
I'm actually working double duty that evening. I'll also be taking part in the tech clinic before the presentations. The tech clinic aims to offer entrepreneurs a chance to sit down with technical folks to discuss implementation of their ideas, and help them inch forward on the technical details of their company.
I look forward to seeing you there!

Ryan Goodwin is presenting at LaunchUp #6
LaunchUp is rocking it's sixth event next week, and Simler is gonna be representing it right. What is LaunchUp you might ask? It's a community event for tech entrepreneurs to share their ideas and to get help from the community.
The format is fairly simple. Three companies get seven minutes to present themselves to the community, with a few minutes of QA following. I went to the last event in February and it was a lot of fun. There were about 70 people, with just about every chair filled. Theirs grub after, and networking a plenty.

So if you are in Utah on Wednesday March 10th, head over to Thanksgiving Point at 6:30pm to come see me speak about Simler. Then grab a bite and come chat it up after!
LaunchUp was a lot of fun
Last night I attended a local event called "LaunchUp." A forum for tech entrepreneurs to present their ideas to a group of other tech lovers. Each presenter has seven minutes to present their idea, and seven minutes to field questions from the audience. The energy in the room of about 75 people was palpable. There wasn't an open seat in the house, and by the end the temperature in the room matched the intensity of the presenters' passions.

I feel like I was born again being immersed in a common bond with so many other people—which is exactly what Simler strives to do online. We all have things that we're passionate about. Now we have a much easier way to talk to the other people both locally, and around the globe that are passionate about the same thing. It's easy, and a lot of fun. If you're in the greater Salt Lake area, you should come to LaunchUp #6 on March 10th, where yours truly will be presenting a little idea called Simler. :)
