if i’m interested in the plot usually but sometimes i buy things for 20p, bc...they’re 20p. but usually it will be if the plot is good, which i think is p normal. (but for more specific examples, it almost always has to be female centric or have a prominent female. a romance is also always welcome.)

uh yeah unless i was full. if there was some kind of peanut butter and chocolate...thing, that nice. cake? but probably not chocolate cake. nice warm cherry pie.

oh my god i feel your pain. like i heard about rachel and i don’t even watch mm but from what i heard it involved a dream sequence plus all the stuff mentioned like her funeral etc - arguably a far better executed (can we say respectful, again, i dont watch but thats what i’m going with) death than someone who was a main character for seven seasons. disgraceful.
tara knowles had one of the most graphic deaths i’ve ever seen and it was just...left there.
you know what funerals give? closure. but tara’s death was left like an open wound, to fester and to be used as an excuse in a broken man’s toxic actions. the last image we are left with is her on the floor. and after that sutter also made many disgusting comments about the character (including adding a previously unknown history designed to demean her and this little gem x) AND in the finale her children were told they could call someone else ‘mommy’. in one season, in one line, kurt sutter ripped apart an entire character.
and you know what else? it took his young son self harming for jax to wake the fuck up and realise one, what kind of shitty backwater life he leads and what its doing to his kids, and two that his mother was a bad person. what kind of level of incompetence as a father do you have to reach before you see something is wrong? those kids were down right neglected until it came time for them to add to jax’s man pain. disgusting.
look, i’ll stop, bc i’m ranting, and you’ve seen and heard all this before.
but what i will say is this treatment of a lot (A LOT) of female characters has to stop (allison argent feelings anyone? bev katz? sara fucking lance?).
Tara Knowles wouldn’t stand for it and neither will I.
its real hard to choose. I think john is my fave (even though laurel and felicity are total baes) ummmmmm he's just so stoic, but when he's around lyla and sara you can tell that he's a teddy bear. He's Ollie's best friend and a mentor to felicity and he's just really cool and if he doesn't make it to the end of the series I will be beyond pissed.
Ugh, John Diggle is one precious person and I will tell David Ramsey that when I meet him, mark my words. I will probably just seize up until my friend is like BONNIE, SPEAK. And then I’d probably say “JOHN DIGGLE IS ONE OF THE MOST PRECIOUS BEING ON THIS EARTH, THIRD TO TOMMY MERLYN AND ROY HARPER.”
God, John Diggle, man. John Diggle and his representation of future!Oliver if Oliver will get his head out of his ass. John Diggle as a moral compass, John Diggle as a big brother figure, John Diggle as someone who can do little wrong because he’s been in Oliver’s shoes, fought his own island within him. LOST HIS WIFE AND GOT HER BACK AGAIN BECAUSE OF HIS STUBBORNNESS.
GOD THE PARALLELS BETWEEN OLIVER AND DIGGLE ARE SO MUCH.
