I entered the this monster in the Terror of Undermountain contest I had a lot of fun and I also learned a few more things while working on this. You can see the speed paint video on youtube by clicking here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8A0GNEg_OM

@lavabeast It’s pronounced Yoo-Shempt! It’s...such a mouthful. I made it up when I was a younger teen and I thought I was edgy for coming up with “complex” names. By the time I became an adult, I didn’t like it, but that was his name for so long that there’s no way I could ever change it lol
Illusion, Wisps, Hagraven!
Illusion: What’s one power you wish you had?
Is ‘having normal serotonin levels’ a power?
XD For serious though, I think I’d either like to fly so I could get over my mild fear of heights… or the ability to change my appearance.
Wisps: What’s the best dream you’ve ever had?
I had a dream one time in which I was surrounded by puppies that didn’t grow into dogs, but into kittens. So that dream was basically the best by default.
Hagraven: Does the unnatural and arcane interest you?
YES. The idea of being able to manipulate your surroundings via the metaphysical? Super cool. Even as someone who literally calls herself a witch, I have no idea if magic is real or not. I have no idea if it’s all just focus and intent, or if there’s something extra, but it interests me either way.
Plus, it gives me a reason to play the song “I Put a Spell On You” so it’s hard to go wrong.

11. do you have any twin ocs?Sort of? Most of my twin OCs I’ve had have been paired up with a friend, and I’m… not friends with a lot of those people anymore xD There were twins in my original high fantasy story from yeaaarrrssss ago (like my first OCs, haha) but the girl was kind of a useless side character and eventually got written out. Some of my characters have twin children though - Harris and Ciconii have twin girls named Eleanor and Elena (yeah they did that dumb twin name thing). I like working with twin characters, so I’ll have to play with this some more.
19. who is your least favorite oc?Ughhhh. I have some super generic OCs that I just don’t like anymore but don’t really get rid of? Actually, my OC Kali - who is supposed to be the hero of my NaNo novel, haha - is one of my least favorite OCs because he’s just so generic (which is why I’m switching up his story, which you [Lavabeast] know about!) He’s just kind of dry and not very interesting in the least, and he doesn’t really have good motivation for doing the things he does (I mean… sort of).
20. which oc do you think has changed the most since you made them?Leif. Leif was supposed to be just a random Pokemon character that I made to go with this Pokemon RP LiveJournal I had going with some friends. The RP journal never got started, and I actually forgot Leif even existed for a few months. Then one day I remembered I liked his design and asked Lindsey if she could remember what I named him (cause yeah… we couldn’t remember, hah). After that I just decided to figue out what to do with this random guy I made up, and now he’s my favorite of all of my OCs - and the one that represents me the most. So it’s kind of funny that a throw-away character became so important to me.
