Bonus art and lore - Snapfern

This is Cloudyclan’s deputy Snapfern! He is one of my favorite cats :)

He became deputy after the last deputy was murdered. (Old design)

He has a full hate bar on Gillstar but also high platonic like? I like to think they care about each other but because Snapfern is insecure they struggle working together. That being said Snapfern has been the deputy for 72 moons and that doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon.

Snapfern is mates with Lavenderlion and their kits are Rimepaw, Bluepaw, Lyrepaw, and Skykit. Sadly, Skykit was killed by a mouse. She was a daydreamer and confident with words.

This is art I drew of Lavenderlion when she announced she’s expecting kits.

Snapfern is closest to Lavenderlion, Moonclaw, and his kids Rimepaw and Lyrepaw.

I think that’s everything for Snapfern? Next up I’ll be drawing our healers :)

see, in the 1960s and 70s when Robert Heath drove an electrode deep into patients' brains, allowing them to give themselves dopamine hits at the push of a button, it was proven deeply unethical. patients pushed the button upwards of thousands of times in a single hour, and ruined their brains' ability to process stimuli in a normative environment.

but when that button has a funny sound effect, or really short woke tirade attached to it, all of a sudden i've got gen z kids in my inbox insisting that pushing the button counts as activism.

Page two is finally here! A lot happens this moon so stay tuned ;)

I had so much fun drawing this and I’m really proud with how it came out! I think I’ll draw some bonus art before hopping into page three.

Do yall have any questions for/ about the characters? :0 I’m working to draw a headshot of eat clan cat that includes their stats. I’m torn between liking that the audience has to learn about them as we go and wanting to infodump about all of them.

Critique is very welcome, on the art or writing. I’m still trying to figure out comic layout and what writing style I want to use.
