Official Kaleido Star Acrylic Keychains merch they sold during their event on November 29th 2025. Second picture is from said event featuring the secret "Sora and Iron Ball"

Yeah so they had an event (morning and evening) in 29th November with Director Junichi Sato, Sora Layla Anna and Mia's VAs, Composer Mina Kubota and Singer Chihiro Yonekura (OP2, OP3, ED3; she also sang Yakusoku no basho e and Tattoo Kiss at the event)

There was also a live reading of a new script supervised by Junichi Sato. Sharing some little tidbits I've heard about it from tweets (they aside from people possibly selling the scripts, which I don't have, at Mercari, they truly gatekeep)

The theme of the script was believing in yourself and plans for the future

Aside from the VAs mentioned above, other characters seemed to have appeared in the script (dunno if they actually say something in the script and/or just got mentioned): Ken, Rosetta, May, Leon, Kalos and Sarah were mentioned

A NEW CHARACTER GOT INTRODUCED, a girl Layla interacts with (I seriously hate that they kinda gatekeep about this character)

There was a funny moment in the morning event where Layla's VA fumbled by not finding her line (people described that while her face was like a pro her hand was panickly flipping through the pages in search for her line), leading to a poignant pause before her response

Later, at the evening show, the staff joked about it with "Layla really likes staring at the ocean."

Layla and Leon are the only people who witnessed Sora's angel maneuver this close. Layla saw it during their rehearsal duel while Leon is the co-star of Sora for this stage act so of course he have seen it. Now that I think about it, Layla and Leon has parallel in Sora's life. They both willing to destroy someone in search of true Kaleido Star(tho Layla destroy them by defeating them and be harsh on them, Leon is a whole new level of cruel) and if Layla is the one who taught Sora about the stage, it was the opposite in Leon because Sora taught Leon about the stage that he forgot after his sister died. This made me think we sure never had a chance to see Leon and Layla perform together as a pair. I think it would be exciting since both are very skilled in technicalities.

The official book says Yuri cooks for Layla, and OVA 3 mentions that Layla doesn’t know how to use a kitchen knife, so I drew this.

The plot point that made Kaleido Star memorable for me was at the end of the Angel's Manoeuvre arc.

Spoiler below:

Both Yuri and Leon have by this point spent most of the season trying to become the "demon who raises an angel", only to realise that Layla and Sora had it handled.

Layla was as generous with her love for Sora, wishing to see her thrive and grow as a performer, as she was ruthlessly competitive. Sora knew she had to give it her all to even hope to stand a chance against Layla.

Layla was the demon raising an angel all along.

Something about that made me feel perfectly adequate; enough.
