Real talk for a moment. As the current lead archivist for the Professor Layton fandom, my biggest pet peeve is when people refuse or forget to give proper credit. What I’ve noticed over time is that this fandom has a widespread issue with crediting, and it’s especially prevalent in the Layton lost media scene. Honestly, it’s the most demotivating part of this job. I archive lost media for many fandoms, but unfortunately, the Layton community continues to be the worst when it comes to a lack of credit. In the past, we’ve had major issues with people in this fandom neglecting to give credit. So please, remember that everyone’s time in this space is incredibly valuable. A little extra effort to credit someone’s work goes a long way. Thank you to everyone who took the time to read this.
