Legally Blonde Appreciation Week

What is it?

It is an entire week dedicated to celebrating Legally Blonde: The Musical. In general opinion, Legally Blonde was a very revolutionary story on its own, giving us a heroine of beauty and brains who started her journey chasing after a man but ended up finding herself instead. In addition, its adaption to the Broadway stage is quite impressive, earning seven Tony nominations among several other accolades along with its own Professionally Shot performance. The characters are entertaining and relatable, the music fun and heart-wrenching, and the overall production (casting, staging, choreography) such a masterpiece that left critics and fans jumping to their feet with applause. Legally Blonde is an old favorite among many by this point, and even though it is now nearly eleven years old since its opening, it should be hailed and celebrated for being such an entertaining, emotional, inspirational piece of work.

When is it?

May 1st - May 7th, 2018.

How do we celebrate it?

You can celebrate it through gif sets, artwork, fanfiction, headcanons, or just inspired posts in general! Every single day of the week has a theme but you don’t necessarily have to constrict yourself to these “restrictions,” as it were. As long as you are talking about Legally Blonde (the story, the staging, the cast, the music, etc), you are participating in this event.
