△ Dongfang Qingcang, sword in hand, fiercely confronts his father, the Old Demon Lord.

Narrator O.S.: Thirty thousand years ago, an unprecedented demon arose from Cangyanhai, inhabited by the Demon Tribe. His name was Dongfang Qingcang. He was exceptionally talented, possessed immense magical powers, and was a ruthless and vicious monster.

△ The Old Demon Lord is no match for his son; his sword is knocked away, and he falls to the ground.

△ Dongfang Qingcang points the tip of his sword at his father's throat, his eyes cold.

△ Then, the sword flashes, and black blood splatters.

Narrator O.S.: He killed without hesitation, showing no mercy even to his own family. Legend has it that he not only murdered his father but also absorbed his primordial spirit, adding tens of thousands of years of cultivation to himself. In the Three Realms, he was unrivaled.

△ Dongfang Qingcang holds a ball of Hellfire in his hand, within which is the distorted face of the old Demon Lord, twisted in agony. Then, the old Demon Lord's face vanishes, transforming into a Black Lotus flower, its petals unfurling in parts of threes and sevens (representing the old Demon Lord's primordial form with his three souls and seven spirits), hovering above Dongfang Qingcang's palm.

△ Dongfang Qingcang absorbs the Black Lotus with a dispassionate expression.

△ Black energy spreads within Dongfang Qingcang's body. He coldly opens his eyes, his powers greatly increased.

△ Dongfang Qingcang stands high above, while the Demon leaders, along with their Demon soldiers and subjects, all raise their palms high, kneeling at his feet.

Narrator O.S.: From then on, Dongfang Qingcang inherited the position of Demon Lord, leading his Demon army in countless battles and slaughters, causing immense suffering to all living beings in the Three Realms.

△ Dongfang Qingcang leads his Demon army in a bloodbath.

Narrator O.S.: Legend has it that only the Goddess of Wushan, who possessed the power to heal all living beings, could purify his sins and allow his fragmented soul to be reborn. In that great battle, the Wulan clan, the maternal lineage of the Goddess of Wushan, was also implicated and brutally slaughtered. The young goddess Wuyao was protected by the entire clan, sealed away as an orchid seed, and sent adrift into the mortal world, her whereabouts unknown.

△ Goddess Wuyao is a delicate, young girl. She is casting a spell in prayer, her body surrounded by vibrant flowers and plants, holding a six-petaled orchid-shaped luminous totem (the Wulan Holy Seal) in her hands.

△ Most of the Wulan clan lay dead in pools of blood. The remaining clan members form a circle, protecting the goddess at the center, and together they cast a final spell, sealing her away as a tiny seed, which drifts away into the distance.

Narration O.S.: Fortunately, the former War God, Lady Chidi, sacrificed her own primordial spirit to seal away 100,000 Demon soldiers with the Shuofeng Sword, and the demon was also finally slain by the combined efforts of all gods and celestials. However, his primordial spirit is immortal; one day, the demon will return, unleashing endless war and disaster.

Hello! I’m really enjoying the script translations. Thank you for taking on such an important project.

Do you know if the cut scenes include Dongfang Qingcang telling Xiao Lanhua that he’ll drink whatever she gives him? Their dialogue in the pre-Fuju Cave scene suggests that he said something like that at one point, but I haven’t been able to find or remember anything like that in the drama.

Hi! Yes, the cut scenes also include that scene (dialogue implying that he'll drink whatever she gives him) that was hinted at in their conversation pre-Fuju Cave.

The referenced scene in question is a throwback to EP25 (Yunmengze-arc, wedding night), where, under Ronghao's persuasions, Xiaolanhua 'drugged' the wine that she toasted Dongfang Qingcang with, and the latter intentionally drank it regardless. This scene was also cut/shortened in the show, as opposed to the original in the script.

△ Yunmengze: By the Lucheng River, Xiaolanhua and Dongfang Qingcang release Kongming lanterns. On the lanterns, their wishes are written: "Xiaolanhua and Dongfang Qingcang, may we never be separated for all eternity."

△ Cangyanhai: Xiaolanhua and Dongfang Qingcang sit on the roof of the Silent Moon Palace, heads close together, watching the moon, a warm and romantic scene.

△ Wushan: Amidst lush grass, Dongfang Qingcang sits on the lawn, a gentle smile on his face, watching Xiaolanhua run towards him holding a flower wreath.
