Sometimes it was easy to ignore how much time had passed since he could remember seeing the boy at the desk who had barely been up to his knees before... Others, when he rose and stood at his full height and the faint hint of a five o’clock shadow could be seen along his jaw, it was harder.
Frank opened the chocolate frog box and snatched the sweet before it could hop away. Breaking off a piece, he offered it to Neville. “Perhaps you’d like a snack?”
