It might be two years later, but this fic is finally completed for @polysjmweek! If you notice huge differences between this and the first two chapters, yes you do because people change a lot in two years! But I really wanted to finish this one and give you (and these four) a resolution. No beta for this chapter, we die like Frank Hybern.
Eris’s eyes gleamed as he took in the fleet of emotions that raced across Cassian’s face as they showed him the rope. It was the same black silk her and Azriel preferred to use, and ruin, with regular occurrence. They had a large supply, and Eris was excited to show Cassian just what he could do with his knots.
“You’ve been bad, haven’t you pet?”
“I tried,” Cassian’s voice sounded absolutely wrecked. It was evident how much he’d tried to follow the rules, but Eris knew how much Cassian also loved to break them, how much he enjoyed this play of discipline within a scene. And that was the whole point of tonight. The four had planned, sharing their deepest desires, the fantasies that required something outside their happily completed mate bonds.
This has been one of Cassian’s requests, to be kept from his mate, to be pushed as far as their bond would allow. Eris intended to deliver. He ran the rope through his hands, feeling the solid length of it across the pads of his fingers.
“Trying isn’t good enough, now is it?”
Cassian swallowed, and Eris answered with a grin.
“I asked you a question, Cassian.”
“No, sir. It’s not good enough.”
“So eager,” Eris crooned at him as he approached the chair Cassian still sat in, his release drying across his chest. “So trainable.”
“But you need more, don’t you?” Eris ran the length of rope across Cassian’s arms where they still clutched the sides of the chair. “Holding yourself back isn’t enough to make the message stick. You have to be kept away.”
