Voting for the Ludum Dare 27 is over, and it went pretty well. I placed #150 in the Mood category, which was the only category that I could really compete in. Except maybe for Theme or Innovation, but the things that I think are innovative about my work has mostly to do with narrative and gamer-and-game-relations, and are perhaps too subtle or understated. What matters most were the comments though, and I really loved some of the comments I got. All in all this has been a great experience; I’ve played tons of good games, they have inspired and entertained, haunted and amazed me, and I’ll be sure to participate in more game jams in the future. On a post at FreeIndieGam.es, Arrogant Gamer wrote that he’d liked to see me “do something with all those brief messages”. Which I’d actually thought about doing in the beginning, and even though it may be too late I’m going to start collecting your notes from now on. Well, if you send them to me, that is. You could always post a screenshot of your message, or something, but if you prefer, send it here: seed.of.reconstruction at gmail dot com. You can also do this at the end of the game, which is now updated to the new Extended Director’s Cut-version that everyone’s talking about.
