Get a girlfriend who is long distance.
✦ A playlist for those brave enough to fight for their long distance relationship ✦ [LISTEN HERE]
Hey, nice blog idea :) My man and I met year and half ago here in tumblr and he lives in Florida and I live in Finland. I´m 7 hours ahead of him and 900809809898986987979 miles away. We see each other in every three months when he flies here for two weeks. It hasn´t been easy but we are perfect to each other and we are getting married in 7th of august <3 He works 7 days per week to save the money to move here next winter. But yes, most definitely long distance relationships can work :) <3
Tracy says: That’s amazing! I’m so happy for you two! Long distance relationships can definitely work out, and you two are a great example of that. It’s hard when there’s so much distance and time between you, but I think that it really does make couples so much stronger. Thank you so much for sharing with us! It’s so encouraging to see couples that long distance has worked for! :D
Sam says: The distance you guys have reminds me of the distance me and Tracy have. Sharing your story with us gives me hope and I’m sure other people could agree with me. Keep your love strong and be positive. That’s the best message we would want to promote. Thank you for sharing your story with us. (Also, congrats for your wedding!!! We’re so happy for you!)
90 Day LDR Challenge: Day 65

90 Day LDR Challenge: Day 34
What are some negative impacts you feel distance has made on your relationship?
In one word? None.
There is no negative impact on our relationship besides the distance itself, if you consider that negative (I don’t necessarily). I think in an LDR you have the opportunity to make a conscious decision about how you interpret your circumstances and what they mean. Jax and I have both decided to interpret being an LDR as A) a simple fact, B) a result of how much we love one another and how strongly we want to be in a relationship and C) a challenge that we're perfectly capable of taking on, and that will help us grow in the meantime.
I don’t see what’s so negative about that.
