The Art of Onward Panel & Book Signing Opening Reception: Saturday, March 14, 2pm-5pm FREE Admission | All Ages Welcome
Set in a suburban fantasy world, Disney and Pixar’s “Onward” introduces two teenage elf brothers who embark on an extraordinary quest to discover if there is still a little magic left out there. Pixar Animation Studios’ all-new original feature film is directed by Dan Scanlon and produced by Kori Rae—the team behind “Monsters University.” “Onward” releases in theaters on March 6, 2020.

We are joined by Story Artist Le Tang, Character Designer/Visual Development Artist Maria Yi, and Author Drew Taylor. “Bad Habits”
Star Wars: The Clone Wars #6 by Le Tang
"Part of making the world of Elemental was creating the Fire culture & this is some exploration I did for their language. I started by imagining that the writing resembles smoke ascending even thinking it would be written from the bottom up
I thought the constants would be based on sounds you hear from a crackling fire & used symbology related to fire like flame, volcano, and sun as nouns
Smartly Peter Sohn used professional linguists for the final language but it was still nerdishly fun for me to explore" – Le Tang
