Pb(NO3)2 + 2KI --------> 2KNO3 + PbI2 (yellow precipitate) When Potassium iodide is added in a solution of lead (II)nitrate a double displacement reaction takes place and produces lead (II) iodide and potassium nitrate. Potassium nitrate is water soluble white solid whereas lead (II) iodide is precipitated out as yellow solid. 🎥 @franklinchemistry For more such amazing content follow @che_mystery_unfolded #chemistry #chemicalreaction #chemistryisfun #chemistrylab #chemistrylovers #chemistryreactions #chemicalengineering #chemicalguys #chemicalsynthesis #chemicalrecycling #potassium #iodide #leadnitrate https://www.instagram.com/p/CLJaP6Qj5Fv/?utm_medium=tumblr
