While the short scene in I think episode three of Allumos' POV where Patrick comments on the pink house in Allumos' mindscape is funny, honestly I think it could be a good moment to point out how Allumos is still relatively "behind" in terms of understanding current social norms. The pink house doesn't mean anything to Allumos because being associated with pink doesn't mean anything to Allumos. While currently pink is associated with 'little girls', back in Allumos' time it just wasn't. Fun dialogue opportunities such as:

Pádraig "A pink house, huh?"

Allumos "Yes, my dear, it's described that way in the novel I'm reading. What about it?"

Pádraig "No it's nothing just... Well — didn't expect you of all people to dream up a pink house haha."

Allumos "...?"

Allumos "Is this some sort of New Age Thing I've yet to encounter, my boy?"

Pádraig "...Urgh, uh yeah it's a New Age Thing."

Allumos *sigh* "It's always a New Age Thing..."

Me Not Giving A Shit about actual Fairy Tail lore is both a good and a bad thing. Cause on one hand developing world building independently is more fun and also makes Derecho more distinct from both FT and FTO. On the other I occasionally read about Important Lore Thing that's present in FT that I hadn't previously considered and I'm standing here like 🧍‍♂️ I ain't doing that.
