Switched from Krita to Clip Studio Paint, since everyone raved about it.  I do think the sketching options are better in this program!

I have to get Shippou to look more like himself, aaaand Kagome’s hair needs to not be a single blob.  Still need to add the bow and quiver in as well, but it’s getting there!

Honestly, I’m gunning to learn how to paint digitally, so I just want the sketching/lining part to be over with already.

A wip i have where im trying to better understand lighting and color. Also trying to kinda emulate the style of @rema-rin cause i adore how she uses a more flat colors to denote shadow instead of blending. Idk i just really love that style, where its kind of sketchier and  has less rendering to it. Clean lines not in the linework but in the actual color itself.

I am being consumed by the realisation lines are bullshit and you can paint with anything you want and texture is good and everything is a lie and nothing matters. 

All brushes/erasers/blenders/inkers/pencils, they are all the exact same thing with different setting boxes ticked. They are all the same thing. You can use any of them for anything you want, who’s gonna stop you?? 

Paint with a pencil? Yes. Detail with an eraser? Fucking go for it u mad little bastard.
