i'm def writing my next long story completely before i start posting. gonna post one chapter a week like a normal person.
dont EVER feel bad about being confused ladies and gents this is a fine day to learn something new and i love you anyway
It’s a little discouraging at times to find supplies for old hobbies that I ultimately abandoned. But here’s the thing! They’re not really abandoned!! I still know how to do these things at a basic level. I still know how to bookbind, how to crochet, how to bake, how to color with watercolors and colored pencils. The knowledge is still there! I may need to refresh my memory but I can still access these skills if I ever need to use them again. They’re not a waste of time. They’re not a waste of money. I am learning from them, I am growing. I am a jack-of-all-trades, and while I’m not perfect at any of my ‘abandoned’ hobbies, I’m still overjoyed that I had the privilege to learn and practice them. I am capable of doing so many ‘unusual’ things because of them! I am able to apply the skills I’ve gained in order to solve a problem! I am proud that I switch hobbies so often! I don’t have to pick just one thing and stick with it. I have options and I am going to explore each and every one of them and I refuse to feel guilty about that.
Happy Saturday!
Day 2 of class and the sun may come out today! Bonus!! Enjoy your day!
