Goal setting and its impact on health and wellbeing
Hello my lovelies,
I'm currently reflecting on my goals for the next few months, including regarding my mental and physical health and thought I would post it on here in hopes of keeping myself accountable but also to help anyone else in a similar situation. My goals are as follows:
Try and build in some form of physical activity on a regular basis
2. Be mindful of what I am taking in- both regarding my dietary habits and media, there's a lot of noise on the news and online and I hope to filter what I consume online and what I read, watch and listen to. I also know that we consume can have an impact on mood and I want to show my mind and body the love that I should have been showing them all along (disclaimer: everyone is different in the way that they show this and I am in no way suggesting that there is only one way of looking after your physical and mental health because there are so many, please don't feel the need to compare yourself to anyone else because there is only one you).
3. Spend more time with my loved ones and spend more time strengthening my spiritual health.
4. Work on sleep hygiene and mindfulness- I know this sounds really generic but both of these really do have an impact and are SO important.
5. Keep writing creatively and continue working on something I've started writing- more to come with regards to that. I also want to post more on here and on my instagram blog to help raise awareness for neurodiversity and long term health conditions and self-care as well as the relationship between the two. I'm trying to educate myself more on this with it being a new situation so do bear with me.
6. Declutter and look after my space- both in real life and online. I want to make sure that what I surround myself is meaningful, uplifting, purposeful and sparks joy.
7. Go on more walks- Something that was suggested to me a little while ago was going on 'colour walks' where you pick a colour to look for before going on a walk and then reflecting on how many things of that colour you have seen when out.
8. Take more photos and videos and scrapbook more to help capture memories and get creative.
I'll come back to this in a month's time with an update, if you have any ideas as to what you want to see on this blog and any ideas or information you have, that is more than welcome!
Much love!
Rose xx
